We offer our Pini Kay Eco Heat Log Briquettes as a pallet delivery with several options:-

  • A half pallet contains 20 x 24kg Packs - (480kg)
  • A full pallet contains 40 x 24kg Packs  (960kg)

Each pack weighs 24kg which is 24 Logs

Our Heat Logs are made from compressed wood sawdust and sourced from sustainable forests. The Heat Logs have a low moisture content of less than 8% which ensures an intense heat and less smoke than traditional firewood logs. 

What do I need to know about a pallet delivery?

  • Pallet Delivery is free dependant on your postcode when you checkout.
  • You must provide a telephone number and any delivery instructions on checkout.
  • Our Pallet Delivery Network in most cases will use a tail lift so they will require good access. In most cases the pallet will be moved using a hand pump pallet truck to your front door, however the hand pump truck cannot move across gravel or grass it needs to be on a hard surface.
  • Our Pallet Delivery Network will contact you directly to book in your delivery at a time to suit you.
  • If you miss your delivery there will be a rebooking fee of £35 payable before it is attempted again.
  • If there are any access issues and your delivery cannot be made, a rebooking fee of £35 is payable before it is attempted again.
  • The delivery time is approximately 5 days from date of dispatch.

STEP 1

Ensure that your fireplace has been swept, We have put together a helpful guide for when a thorough clean is required.

STEP 2

Build a Jenga style structure using kiln dried kindling in your fireplace. Depending on your fireplace size, you should only need 6 to 8 pieces of kindling. Pinewood Fuels can supply Kiln Dried Kindling in 2.5kg sized nets. The kindling is pre-cut and has a low moisture content which aids quick and easy lighting.

STEP 3

Using a firelighter of your choice, place this in the middle of your kindling.

STEP 4

Our USB Rechargeable Lighter is perfect for lighting your firelighter. Once lit, wait until the kindling starts to burn before topping up your fire. 

 

STEP 5

All our Heat Logs can be broken by hand. We recommend breaking 1 log initially into 3 pieces to start your fire. Place the broken log on top of the burning kindling. Don’t forget to wear Heat Resistant Gloves when adding more logs.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

It’s really important to remember that the heat logs will expand and almost double in size when burning. For your average sized Log Burner, we would recommend that you always break your logs in half before carefully adding to the fire. Add gradually to avoid overloading your Log Burner.
